Haelsa was founded by highly experienced medical herbalist Jenny Lancaster, who for many years has used herbs to make healing medicines, and is fascinated by our relationship with the plant world. She has distilled her botanical knowledge and insight to create these soapy celebrations of plant power.
Haelsa soaps are inspired by the colours and fragrances of the plants around us. They’re brimming with plant oils and butters, herbal infusions, flower waters, essential oils, and powdered plant extracts. With their creamy lather, gorgeous fragrances and beautiful natural colours, our soaps are heavenly to use. They help protect and soothe the skin, and maintain and support its own health and natural moisture.
All our soaps are manufactured using traditional methods, and allowed to cure and mellow for several weeks until ready. Please note as our soaps are hand-made and cut, their appearance and weight may vary slightly.
We only use responsibly sourced ingredients, and all our soaps are vegan apart from the Honey & Oat soap, which contains local Scottish honey.
